2N IP Intercom Settings

  Requirements for 2N IP Intercom

 Enable parameter RTSP Server Enabled in menu Services / Streaming.

Enable Onvif and set authorisation data in menu Services / Onvif.

  Scan Device

The digivod® observer is the digivod® control center. This program can be started either from the starting menu (start/all programs/digivod2/digivod Observer) or using the desktop icon ‘digivod Observer‘. Make sure that the digivod® dongle is plugged to a free USB port on the digivod® server. The program starts with the login screen. Enter ‘user name’ and ‘password’ and press the OK button. Open the administration menu by selecting the menu option in the digivod® main menu.

Selecting the menu option Cameras will open camera administration and click Discovery.
Fill the ONVIF password a click OK.
After confirm master password digivod ® searchs all devices in your network. Select the cameras you want to add to the system and click OK.
Now your device is added to the system.

  Video from 2N IP Intercom

Now enter your camera manufacturer, IP connections and access data for administrator access to your camera. When selecting the button Validate, digivod® connects to the camera and, if successful, displays the current image of this camera as a still image(!).

In the menu General you can assign a name to your camera which will then be displayed later in your navigation tree. The check box ‘Enabled’ allows you to specify whether you want this camera to be enabled within the system. Only active cameras may be used for recordings and views, press the OK button and Close the administration menu.

  Audio from 2N IP Intercom

In the Administration / Cameras / Camera: Option / General Camera configuration / Video the check box ‘Audio enabled’ allows audi stream. Press the OK button and Close the administration menu.

 

In the menu View a double left-click on a single camera window enlarges this camera to full screen.  indicates that audio from the camera is on.   indicates that audio from the camera is off. A click on the icon turns it on or off.

  Switch control

Open the administration menu by selecting the menu option in the digivod® main menu. In this tab you may create and maintain IO ports. The list shows the IO ports that already exist. Before an IO port of an IP-based external device can be used, the device must be created first. Click Add to create a new IO port.

The following dialogs are specific for the respective port type. Set the settings for IO port and press the OK button and Close the administration menu.
As soon as there has been defined at least one IO port digivod® will create a single IO view in the navigation tree (see Navigation tree). This IO-view shows a summary over all IO-ports and their statuses. Output ports can be switched or triggered using the corresponding buttons in the column named ‘Action’.

  Events from 2N IP Intercom

In current state only events digivod is able to log are those set in digivod, for example relay status set from digivod, camera status etc. Rules for alarms can be set add Administration/ Rules section.

To add new rule click new. In following window chose Event type IO port. and status ON.
To add Device name to Alert Rule, you must add %v in Properties.
To log Alarms for relay status OFF, it is needed to create similiar new Rule.
