ekey home is the innovative finger scanner set for your private front door or your office door. The system combines simple installation and intuitive user management. Depending on the specific scope, the finger scanners are available in different hardware designs.

Connection to 2N IP Intercom
The connection of the ekey home system should be according to the instalation manual of ekey home sytem (PDF). The connection to 2N® IP Verso is accoring to following schematic. For correct functioning 1500 Ω pull-up resitor is needed to be connected according to schmetics bellow

Configuration of 2N IP Intercom
When the wiring is done, no special configuration needed in the tested version. In the older version make sure to set up Wiegand 26 bit at Hardware - Extenders.

Now when everything is set, you should be able to operate internal lock from external ekey home fingerprint reader.
To add ID of a finger it is needed to do a scan of a finger. There should be visible ID paired to your finger by ekey in 2N IP intercom web configuration in menu Staus / Access log after the scan with description Access Denied. This ID can be used as a Card ID for Access Card or User Card more information can be found in 2N IP intercom Configuration Manual.
When the wiring is done, go to 2N IP intercom web configuration menu and in Card reader - Wiegand Interface change parameter "Interface mode" to input and "Received Code Format" to Wiegand 26-bit. By this setting you will specify that 2N IP intercom will accept data from the external ekey home fingerprint reader.
