The innovaphone Virtual Appliance VoIP telephone system is a particularly attractive solution for newcomers to the market. It can be implemented for solutions of any installation size with relatively simple means. End users who already have a VMware environment in their company should not be forgotten. The innovaphone Virtual Appliance VBoIP telephone system represents the ideal solution for this customer group allowing them to also operate their corporate communications via this infrastructure. In such cases, the innovaphone PBX VoIP telephone system is just set up in a new VMware entity thus avoiding any major investment in hardware. The media gateway IP1060 or any other innovaphone gateway can be used if the innovaphone PBX VoIP telephone system, as an IPVA, should still manage ISDN connections.

Settings
The innovaphone Virtual Appliance user interface can be opened on any computer connected with the innovaphone Virtual Appliance. Start a web browser on your computer. Enter innovaphone Virtual Appliance in the address line of the browser. The innovaphone Virtual Appliance user interface opens and enter the password. In settings innovaphone Virtual Appliance go to: PBX > Objects and choose new (User).

Open web browser and enter IP address of intercom (default: admin/2n). If you don´t know IP of your Intercom, you can use 2N® IP Network Scanner (download 2N website). Go to Service – Phone – SIP 1 and fill Intercom Identity – Authentication – SIP Proxy – SIP Registrar and save settings. Connection between innovaphone Virtual Appliance and 2N IP Intercom is now ready. In directory you can set, which numbers you will call from 2N IP Intercom (you can ad numbers from which are in the innovaphone Virtual Appliance).

SRTP on innovaphone Virtual appliance
No special settings are required to be made in innovaphone Virtual appliance.
SRTP on 2N IP Intercom
Go to SIP settings in Services and in Advanced settings enable recieving and transmitting of SRTP calls.
